This summer, the Small Group Sermon Series will explore the book of Psalms as the preaching pastor shares his or her favorite Psalm. Each week, from June 1-August 31, the Sermon-based Small Group questions will be available here so that you can use them to prepare for the sermons each Sunday.

You are encouraged to meet with your Small Group for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer – and to use the Sermon-based questions to prepare for each weeks’ upcoming sermon. Additionally, these suggested readings are good Small Group resources for the Psalm Series:

Service Opportunities will be organized throughout the year at All-Church Service Days. Ongoing service opportunities are always available too. Fall 2008 Small Group Series
Dates: September 14 – November 16 (10 weeks, ending the week before Thanksgiving)
Sign-ups: August 17 – September 7 (in the Atrium for four weeks)
Point Person Training: Saturday, August 16

Spring 2009 Small Group Series
Dates: January 25 – March 15 (8 weeks, ending the week before BVSD Spring Break)
Sign-ups: January 4 – January 18 (in the Atrium for three weeks)
Point Person Training: Saturday, January 10
