Who's Running to God? Not Them! (11)

Jonah’s story is our story. We too have been given a second chance, and found grace in the eyes of the Lord. That is good news (the evangel). Yet people today are very wary of evangelicals. Here is the problem: What if our enemy gets a second chance and is extended grace? Picture this person as a known terrorist or someone who has betrayed you. Now this person has repented and turned to God. Is grace or judgment to be given? Now think of Jonah who just wanted God to honor the prophetic word that he had preached to Nineveh. Was God’s mind changed? (v.10). What troubles us most, God’s inconsistency or consistency?
