What About Work?

Labor Day is a national holiday that we observe by not working that day. The idea of the holiday was to spend some time thinking about the importance of work and workers in our lives. The Bible is not silent on this topic, and what we think about work does matter. From the beginnings of the Genesis story was work a gift or a punishment? Are only those who work in the church “Full-time Christian workers?” How has work seemed futile? How has it become a “means of grace?”
