A Family of Grace

Those in Galatia who believed that a gospel of grace would never work are still with us. “We need to be tougher on sin.” “Grace and forgiveness makes individuals and families lose a sense of responsibility for their actions.” “The Family of believers” (vs. 10) only exists by grace. We didn’t clean up our act and then Christ died for us. If grace is always prevenient it is extended before the recipient is responsible or deserving. That is true when a brother or sister stumbles. Grace gives us strength to carry our own burdens, help others carry their burdens, and receive help too. We start in the family sharing this incomparable grace but it doesn’t end there. It is all good.
