First Presbyterian Church of Boulder is hosting a Local Ministries Fair for all of the people and agencies in and around Boulder County that we support through Deacons and Local Missions. The purpose of this Ministry Fair is to provide an opportunity for interaction between the church attenders and the ministries so the church attenders can learn first-hand about who we support, what they do, what volunteer opportunities are available and what their other needs are.
The fair will be in Oerter Hall and will be open from 9:00am till 12:45pm to allow people to come to the fair before and after the services. Please come in and check out these agencies and see how you could help them.
We have also asked for Outreach and Service projects from these people and agencies that can be done by two to a dozen people on one or two Saturdays, whether it is building, cooking, cleaning, gardening or what ever. When we hear back from them, we will be arranging teams to do the work.
If you would like to help with the ministry fair, we are looking for people to:
- greet and help the people and agencies set up on Sunday morning at 8:00am
- provide coffee and snacks for them Sunday morning
- help set up the evening before
