Purpose:
Early Childhood Ministry is a church outreach to families
with children from infancy to five years. Our desire is to
provide a safe and nurturing environment for a child's first
experience with church, to provide support through a committed
Christian community for parents of young children, and to
reach all of our young families, volunteers and staff with
the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Sunday School is the primary contact that most children have
with the church and one of the most important hours a child
spends each week. Our teachers are committed to your children-they
know their job is important, and they seek to effectively
relate Scripture to each child's life through carefully planned
lessons that are relevant and true to the Scripture.
Our Early Childhood Ministry serves infants through five-year-olds.
Classes meet every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 9:30
a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the first floor of the Children's Wing.

Mothers
of Preschoolers (MOPS)
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture every
mother with children from infancy through pre-school by meeting her distinct
needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. The women involved in MOPS may have varying
ages and backgrounds, but they all share the same desire -- to be the best mothers
they can be! MOPS meets from 9:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. on the second and fourth Monday
of each month, September through May. Meetings take place in Oerter Hall. Join
us for encouragement, support, teaching, fun and friendship! Register ahead or
drop in to visit. We are currently in need of MOPPETS childcare workers during
our MOPS meetings. Paid and volunteer positions are available. For information,
call 303.402.6455.
