Well Water Project
Hi Kids! Remember that Music Camp 2010 is helping a family in Kenya dig a well? 
We thought we'd give you your own web site so you can find out more about the project and share it with your family.
Do you remember how dry and dusty it looked in Kenya when Mrs. Morgan talked about it? Water is hard to find there and the main way to get it is out of the ground - from a well !

Digging a well is hard work and takes many people. Not only the people in Kenya, but from here in Colorado too!
Here's how a well is dug by hand.

This is Peter after a hard days work of digging with the hand drill. Even though he's tired he's happy that God is helping him take care of his family and that he has friends helping him.
This is a short movie about digging the well last year.
Since they were only able to hand dig down 25 feet they were not able to finish the well. We are going to help them get a drilling machine to go all the way down to the water - 150 feet!
