Dear Families,
Welcome to KidTrek, a ministry focused on children and their parents. At KidTrek, we care passionately about kids and we want them to know that God does too! We are excited to get to know you and your children and we are excited to share our faith through the stories of the Bible as well as our personal faith journeys.
As you will see throughout the children’s wing, KidTrek chose a winding path slicing through the Flatirons which depicts not only our community but also a journey. When we take a journey, we need to know first what our destination is and then how to go about getting there. Our destination is simply Jesus. We want to move towards knowing him, loving him, trusting him, serving him. Our mission is how we go about getting there. #1 We need guides to show us the way. For children these people can be Bible story characters or grown up believers. #2 We need tools—maps, lights, skills to help us over the rough terrain. Our primary tool is scripture but prayer and service make a difference too. And #3, we need company along the way; we need community. We are excited to have you and your family join us on this spiritual journey.
