  • By telephone - call Arlene Magor at either 303.485.5064 or 720.253.5842
  • By completing a Prayer Request Form available in the pews of both the chapel and sanctuary

Electronic prayer requests are monitored closely and ALL requests are handled in a confidential manner.

Please limit your request to a maximum of 3 sentences to keep the relay of information accurate.

All requests are held and prayed for over a two-week period.  If it is possible for you to provide an update after that time, it is greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in becoming a prayer chain member, we have a place for you!  Please contact Ann Stroman at 303.460.8859 for more information or to volunteer.

An Invitation to Healing Prayer

A time of Healing Prayer takes place every third Sunday of the month following the 9:30 and 11:00 worship services.  Come forward after the service for prayer and to be anointed with oil by an Elder of the church, following the model of James 5:13-16.  The Elders invite you to bring your prayers for spiritual, physical and emotional healing.

Prayers for Palestine

Please come join us for prayer meetings for the Palestinian people and for our Christian brothers and sisters in particular. We have contacted our hosts from Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation (HCEF) in Bethlehem and asked them to provide us with specific prayer needs for each month so that we are asking God to help them in meaningful ways. These monthly meetings will be a tangible form of ongoing support for our friends in the Holy Land and will keep us aware of other ways that we can support them in their daily struggles. We will have a short time of fellowship, a time of group prayer, and then we will include a variety of short education/awareness sessions or personal stories of local Boulder Palestinians.  Drop in when ever you can!  The first meeting is on Saturday, June 19th and then meetings will be held on the second Saturday of each month. All meetings are at 10:00 AM in Geneva 270 at First Pres., and after the meeting you may join us to walk over for some great Palestinian food at Arabesque, which is owned by our local Boulder friends, Saib and Manal Jarrar.  Questions?  Contact Tamara Nation or Linda Hawkins at 303-440-8869.

Children and Family KidTrek Prayer Calendar

The Children and Family ministry publishes a monthly prayer calendar for prayer requests for that ministry.

Prayer for Outreach, Service, and our Church in Transition

Come join us in prayer! A number of people from Men's Life, the Alpha course, Lamb's Lunch, Deacons, Children's Ministries and the Missions department are meeting from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. every Tuesday morning in the Chapel to pray for outreach and service at our church and for the church in general during this period of transition. You may come regularly or just drop in, and you may pray silently or with a small group of people. Those that make it always leave feeling blessed by this time spent in prayer. We hope to see you there!

Prayer Groups for Moms with College Kids

Got a kid off at college? There is no time more critical than right now to be lifting him or her up in prayer. Meet with other moms and be amazed at God’s provision as a result of your prayer time. Not only will you have the privilege of a group of mothers praying for your child, there’s the added bonus of hearing and sharing what other parents experience during this uncertain and sometimes unsettling time of life. New groups are forming based on various locations and meeting times.
