- “Connecting As Couples” ~ Doug & Cindy Smith ~ Oerter Hall ~ Join the Couples Sunday School class for a study on the Fruit of the Spirit. Each week we will take an in depth look at one fruit of the spirit and offer a probing question for small group discussion on applying it in one's life, marriage, and family. This series will begin January 8 and run through March 18.
- “Connections” ~ Jim Carpenter, Joan Graham ~ Geneva 240 ~ The Connections Class is a group of adults, both couples and singles, who meet together weekly during the school year at the 9:30 hour to discover together what it means to be a community of followers of Jesus. Through weekly study, prayer, and fellowship, and through regular social get-togethers and service opportunities, we want to grow individually and corporately as the body of Christ.
- The Walk ~ Fire Escape, 3rd Floor ~ This is a group of graduate and post-graduate students and young professionals. - “Reaching Deeper: Lectio divina: Praying God's Word ~ Christine Brockett ~ Geneva 260 ~ Come practice a traditional method of prayer, lectio divina, in community. Lectio divina consists of a contemplative reading of and meditation on scripture, leading us into a deeper understanding of scripture, the transformation of our lives, and a deepened relationship with Christ. - Bridges Too ~ Peter Citarella & Jane Laughlin, Jim Fletemeyer, and Rich Messmer ~ SJ Conference Room ~ This class for independent, developmentally disabled adults offers fellowship, prayer for each other and Bible study with an emphasis on applying God's truth to their daily lives. - "Reaching the Spiritual but Not Religious"~ Keith Vandegrift & Les Magee ~Westminster Hall ~ This class will explore an increasingly prevalent view of religion in America. "SBNR" persons, as they've come to be called, believe in God and practice some form of spirituality, but are very resistant to traditional, institutional forms of religion; like church attendance for instance. This class will explore what we Evangelical Christians may have in common and where we may disagree with this movement. March 4, 11, 18, 25
- “When Helping Hurts: How to Alleviate Poverty Without Hurting The Poor and Yourself” ~ Keith Vandegrift ~ Westminster Hall ~ This class will loosely follow the issues presented in the book by the same name. In some ways it’s a book study, in some ways it will be a facilitated discussion of issues related to mission and development in the “majority world” as well as some of the complexities of helping the poor in our own communities. April 1, 15, 22, 29 (No class April 8)
- “Topical Bible Study” ~ Dean Smith, Bert Callicoat ~ Geneva 270 ~ Most Christians understand the importance of Christ’s atoning sacrifice and the significance of his resurrection. In this course well-known Bible teacher R. C. Sproul teaches you the significance of all stages of Christ’s life from his Incarnation to his Return. This knowledge will deepen your understanding of the life and work of Jesus Christ, while strengthening your faith in Him and empowering you to share this good news with others.

- “A Fresh Look at Heaven” ~ Cliff Martin ~ Westminster Hall ~ Book: “Heaven” by Randy Acorn. What do we know about heaven and life beyond death? More than you may think! Come and explore with us. There will be time for discussion. Starts January 8.
- “The Kingdom and the Power: Rediscovering the Centrality of the Church” ~ Richard Bledsoe ~ Oerter Hall ~ A study in how the spearhead of The Kingdom of God is the Church. What the Church means in Scripture and how God's power moves through it. How is God going to reform and renew His Church in the coming years.
