The Senior Adult Ministry is an umbrella ministry that brings individuals together for fellowship, service, education, and spiritual nurturing. We are committed to enjoying the Lord and His people in the church, community, and worldwide missions. We welcome you to join us.

Ramblers
A fun group who get together for walk/hikes, fellowship, and brown-bag dinners every Thursday evening, June through September. Meet on the west side of First Pres at 5:15 p.m. with sturdy shoes, water, brown-bag dinner, appropriate clothing, and a smile. Carpool leaves promptly at 5:30 p.m. to explore local trails and will return by dark. Join us for a great time in God’s natural world, enjoy fellowship with a wonderful group of friends, and learn about nature.

Mariners
Enterprise Mariners is a program for both singles and couples that promotes Christian fellowship and service. Mariners meet monthly at the church for potluck dinners and a program during the school year. We also host fun-filled activities during the summer months. Mariners meet the third Friday of every month at 6:00 p.m., in Oerter Hall.

Prospectors
Prospectors are couples who gather in small groups (“Mines”) for Christian fellowship. Mines meet once a month in private homes. In October all Mines gather together for a potluck and couples are reorganized into new small groups for the coming year. Prospectors is a great place to make and build new friendships with Christ as the foundation.

Silver Threads
Silver Threads is a senior adult ministry providing fellowship activities and support. Various activities are offered including the “Brunch Bunch” that gathers the second Tuesday of each month at various local restaurants for good food and conversation, a monthly luncheon and presentation in Oerter Hall at the church (held the third Tuesday each month, September-May), and day trip outings scheduled on alternating months to nearby places of interest.

Senior Adult Ministry Trips and Tours
Excursions are planned to celebrate Spring, Summer and Autumn. Travel to places known for their beauty and/or interest, as well as participation in special Colorado events provide the backdrop for relationships to grow and flourish in Christian love and service to one another.

Work Krew
The mission of this ministry is to provide service opportunities for men to use their skills and talents to do odd jobs and maintenance on the church facilities. The crew meets on Thursday mornings for coffee fellowship and work sessions.
